About
I am currently a junior, recently transferred to Bowie State University. I am studying Communications with a focus in Broadcast Journalism. On track to earn my bachelors degree. I transferred from Montgomery College. While at MC I gained hands on learning experience with television, production, and post-production. I plan to continue to improve my skills and apply everything I've learned, whether it be in school and/or employment.
Through my work, I am focused on producing quality results and making a significant impact. I’m always happy to apply the experience and skills I’ve obtained throughout my life and career to an interesting project, especially one that involves creative problem solving and innovative thinking. My Goals
Honestly, I don't have everything planned out but I know I have goals I want to accomplish. My goals career wise would be to eventually work in production, television or movies. I would love to find a job working as a video editor or a technical director after graduating. On a personal level, I'd love to do more content creation. This year I plan to start streaming and eventually start a podcast once I figure everything out. My biggest overall goal would be to have the opportunity to produce/write/ or direct either a show or a movie, and own my own production company. I feel like not having a plan is ok, as long as you take the initiative and steps to really try and reach your goals.

Some of the projects that I've worked on throughout working on this degree and certificate are here on my website. Most of my classes were TVRA classes. I had a lot of fun, met so many nice people, made connections, but it was also a lot of hard work. Long nights of editing, pre planning, coming up with ideas. Also, it took me a few years because of a surgery I got in 2019 and the pandemic as well. But I wouldn't change any of my experiences.
